How We Started

It was a classic instance of “GIRL (who obsesses over dogs) meets BOY (who considers himself a cinephile)”.

The rest is essentially history. As the two became closer over time, this database was a brainchild of theirs- and a fun and creative way for them to overlap their interests with one another. In addition to all the breed info you could want for a movie, you can also read a refreshing review by the cinephile himself.

Our Mission

Centuries of selective breeding has resulted in a wide variety of appearance of man’s best friend. As an early lover of all things dog and a devotee of dog health and wellbeing, it’s my goal to provide a massive database with everything from what breed is in the new release, breed specific info as well as general canine wellness, and reputable breeders.
